On The Go Wandering
Lifeline’s On the Go with Wandering allows you to track your loved one’s general location on your smartphone when they leave home.
- Receive a SMS text with a link to an online map anytime your loved one leaves home.(1)
- The mapping tool shows the general location of your loved one and their path of travel. You can choose to continue monitoring your loved one’s location on your smartphone or let our 24/7 Response Centre know that help is needed. In addition to the tracking feature, On the Go with Wandering is also a full personal response service which includes fall detection capability2 and two-way voice communication with Lifeline’s Response Centre.
How On The Go with Wandering Works
1. Tracking available round the clock:
Your loved one wears their lightweight On the Go with Wandering mobile pendant which is designed to be worn 24/7 as they come and go.
2. Stay in the Loop:
You receive an SMS text advising every time they leave home. Track your loved one’s general location using the link to an online map. You will also receive an SMS text notifying you when they have returned home.
3. You decide when help is needed:
Continue to monitor and track your loved one’s whereabouts. If help is needed, our 24-hour Response Centre can call Emergency Services or a designated Responder if you can’t respond yourself.
4. Know help is always available:
Our Response Centre Associates are standing by if your loved one pushes their button for help or a fall is automatically detected. Our Associates will contact you, a Responder, or Emergency Services based on their needs.
